Glass-Lined Thermowell with RTD
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD is designed for real-time temperature monitoring in glass-lined reactors. By integrating a tantalum temperature sensing structure at the bottom of the glass-lined thermowell, the glass-lined thermowell with rtd helps you monitor material temperature changes inside the reactor more directly and more efficiently.
Available in both round-tube and baffle-type designs, the glass-lined thermowell with RTD can meet different process requirements for temperature measurement and, when needed, flow control inside the reactor.

Round-Tube Type
Features
- Integrated Direct Temperature Measurement
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD uses a tantalum screw installed at the bottom of the thermowell and integrates a PT100 platinum resistance temperature sensor inside. Through a 4-20 mA signal output, the glass-lined thermowell with RTD can provide real-time temperature display. - Strong Corrosion Resistance for Demanding Media
The corrosion resistance of tantalum is similar to that of glass lining, making the glass-lined thermowell with RTD suitable for most strong acidic corrosive conditions. - Flexible Installation Options
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD can be installed in vertical or inclined positions. the inclined type is often used together with an anchor agitator, allowing the glass-lined thermowell with RTD to measure temperature at lower liquid levels without interfering with agitation. - Convenient integration with control systems
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD can be used together with temperature transmitters and field instruments, making the glass-lined thermowell with RTD easier to connect to an automatic control system.

Baffle Type
Features
- Corrosion-Resistant Structure for Demanding Media
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type uses a seamless carbon steel substrate with an external 0.8-2.0 mm high-borosilicate glass enamel lining, tested by a 20 kv high-voltage spark test. the measuring end integrates a tantalum sensing pin with a purity of ≥99.95%, making the glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type suitable for concentrated acids, strong alkalis, and halogen-containing media, except hydrofluoric acid and fuming sulfuric acid. - Fast Response and High Measurement Accuracy
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type is equipped with built-in elements such as a PT100 platinum resistance sensor. Thanks to the excellent thermal conductivity of the tantalum pin, the glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type offers a fast response time of about 15-20 seconds and a measurement accuracy of ±0.5°C.
- Integrated Baffle Function for Better Mixing
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type integrates an agitation baffle structure that helps optimize the internal flow pattern, reduce mixing dead zones, and improve overall mixing efficiency. the glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type is especially suitable for use with anchor agitators and frame agitators. - Flexible Connection for Different Reactor Designs
Classified according to HG/T 2058.2-2024, the glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type can be configured with flanged or threaded connections to match different types of glass-lined reactors. - Suitable for Typical Process Operating Conditions
The glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type is suitable for operating conditions of -20°C to 200°C and ≤0.6 MPa, making it suitable for temperature control in fine chemical synthesis and pharmaceutical intermediate reactions. - Balanced Performance Compared with Other Options
Compared with a standard glass-lined thermowell, the glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type offers faster response and higher accuracy. Compared with a fully tantalum temperature measuring component, the glass-lined thermowell with RTD, baffle type provides higher mechanical strength, better cost efficiency, easier cleaning, and better impact resistance.
