Glass-Lined Thermowell
The glass-lined thermowell provides a reliable temperature measurement interface for glass-lined reactors. With its glass-lined seamless tube structure, the glass-lined thermowell helps you monitor process temperature more safely in corrosive operating conditions and works with different sensor options for stable and dependable temperature detection.
With its baffle-style structure, the glass-lined thermowell (baffle type) works as a protected temperature measurement channel while also influencing material movement inside the vessel. The design is well suited for operating conditions that require both effective agitation and reliable temperature control.
- Simple and Reliable Structure
The glass-lined thermowell consists of a seamless tube and a flange. The outer wall is glass-lined, and the glass-lined thermowell is installed on the reactor as a protected temperature measurement channel. - Compatible with Different Sensing Devices
The glass-lined thermowell does not detect temperature directly on its own. It can be fitted with an integrated armored thermometer, a tantalum pin sensor, or matching instruments to display process temperature. - Round-Section Design with Mild Baffle Effect
The glass-lined thermowell has a round cross-section. This structure is simple and reliable and also provides a certain baffle effect, although the baffle function is weaker than that of a baffle-type thermowell. - Flexible Installation Option
The glass-lined thermowell can be installed in vertical or inclined positions. The inclined type is often used together with an anchor agitator, allowing temperature measurement at a lower liquid level without interfering with agitation. - Different Measurement Options for Process Selection
According to the temperature measurement method, the glass-lined thermowell is available in a standard round-tube type and a tantalum pin round-tube type, making selection easier for different operating conditions.
