Glass-Lined Tanks
These glass-lined tanks are engineered for superior corrosion resistance, combining premium metallic substrates (such as ASTM A516 Gr.70 carbon steel or stainless steel) with high-performance PEMCO enamel. Fully compliant with ASME VIII Div.1 and PED 2014/68/EU standards, they are the ideal solution for storing corrosive media including inorganic acids, organic acids, and organic solvents across chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and fine chemical industries.
- Metal Substrate
Carbon steel or stainless steel is used as the base material to provide the structural strength and stability required for safe storage operation. - Enamel Lining
Using Q245R steel plate and high-temperature treatment at 820°C-930°C, the tank forms an inorganic inert lining with a thickness of ≥0.2 mm. This lining offers strong resistance to acids and alkalis (pH 1-14), excellent corrosion resistance, and high adhesion strength of 3450 N/cm.
- Capacity Range
Vertical Glass-Lined Tanks are available in capacities of up to 100000L, while horizontal designs are suitable for capacities from 1000L to 80000L. - Working Conditions
Typical operating temperature ranges from -20°C to 200°C, with a working pressure of ≤2.5 kg/cm². - Inspection Standard
The enamel lining is tested with a 20 kV high-voltage spark test to ensure that the coating is free from defects.
